Fundraising

As a registered charity, it is a necessity to raise funds.  We try to keep the methods varied and interesting, but it all boils down to money! Whatever the fundraising activity, we ask that you support us if  you can, as every little helps...

We raise funds through:

• Bags to School: any unwanted/old clothes, bedding, bags, shoes, belts etc are collected and weighed in for cash.
• Jewellery Re-cycling: any unwanted or broken jewellery, costume jewellery, watches are weighed in for cash
• Coffee Morning: We have a coffee morning at the end of the year at the Town Hall. A ticket will provide you with a tea or coffee and a biscuit. We Sell cakes and biscuits, have a raffle, tombola and guess the Teddy's Birthday
• Car Boot Sales: items donated by staff, parents and friends of the pre-school are sold at one of Kendals car boot sales (the money made last year allowed us to take the children to the Ice cream farm for a trip.
• Quizzes: available in many shops in and around Kendal.
• Keswick to Barrow walk: a gruelling 42 mile sponsored walk.
• 'BOX TOP'' tokens: we collect tokens from Nestle cereals; shreddies, cheerios etc.

You can help by buying our regualr quizzes and entering our raffles as often as you can. Come along to our coffee mornings and sponsor our staff for whichever topical event they are giving their own time to participate in!

It will help the Pre-School and Parent's and Toddlers greatly if you can also sell a few quizzes or raffle tickets. Please ask any member of staff, who will be pleased to help. 

We are registered with easyfundraising.org.uk, whenever you buy anything on-line, please go through this website first. If you nominate the Brewery Pre-School as your charity we will receive a percentage of the total of your order. This doesn't cost you a penny.
